The Foods 1 and FCCLA members attended Mitchell Techincal College today. They went on a campus tour and then had an in-depth look into the culinary arts program. Some students quotes: “I learned so much from Chef Tim about the Culinary Arts program and how it requires much more math. Also, use mitts, and don’t drop your soup”. Another student said, “This tour gave me excitement about my future; I plan to attend Mitchell Tech next fall.”
The FCS class is grateful to those who gave such an opportunity to these students.

Our eighth grade students are diving into SDMyLife, exploring career interests and building their future goals as they prepare for the exciting JA Inspire event! It's a hands-on opportunity for them to connect their passions with real-world career possibilities. We can't wait to see how these young minds engage with professionals and get inspired for what's ahead!

The Books and Bagels Bunch went on a "blind date" with a book Wednesday, November 7. Students walked around the room studying book descriptions and then selected their "date," while partaking a bagel. Students will take their books and give their "dates" a chance for the next month before deciding if this "date" is worth continuing or not. When we meet in December, we'll all give our "dates" a review!

We look forward to celebrating our veterans on Monday, November 11 at 9:00am! We hope you can join us!
