The West Central High School Drama and Music Department proudly presents
Joe Dipietro's newly popular musical "All Shook Up."
The play takes place in a familiar mid-western town during a 24 hour period in the summer of 1955. A controlling mayor enforces the Mamie Eisenhower Act on the young people to make sure that there is no dancing, wearing of tight clothing, or public displays of affection. But, when guitar playing roustabout rides into town on his motorcycle spreading his love for musical freedom around, people of all ages fall in hopelessly in love left and right, but not necessarily with the right person. Based on Shakespeare's comedies "As you like it" and " Twelfth Night", and loaded with the music of Elvis Presley, "All Shook Up" is a must see for everyone.
